The name of Complete Technology Assistance, LLC is protected by publicity and privacy rights. Complete Technology Assistance, LLC does not allow the name of Complete Technology Assistance, LLC, nor the Complete Technology Assistance, LLC corporate name, to be used in a way that would imply sponsorship, affiliation, or endorsement of third party products, companies, or services by Complete Technology Assistance, LLC. Permission will not be granted for these types of requests.
Box Shots.
Complete Technology Assistance, LLC does not allow use of our box shots on third party software packaging. However, Complete Technology Assistance, LLC does not object to third party use of box shots of our products in advertising, on documentation, in books and other printed matter, on video tape, in software applications, on World Wide Web pages, or in television programs/commercials/movies so long as the use is not disparaging and falls within the definition of "fair use" under International and/or United States Copyright law, as applicable.
Clip Art.
In some instances, Complete Technology Assistance, LLC cannot specifically grant permission for end users to reproduce, redistribute or modify clip art located in our products, because certain clip art may be owned by third parties and licensed to Microsoft. Ownership of the clip art may be cited in the product.
Please refer to the End User License Agreement (EULA) and other product documentation accompanying the Complete Technology Assistance, LLC product to see if your intended use falls within the terms of the agreement. Complete Technology Assistance, LLC will not assist you in making this determination, and special permission to use Microsoft clipart will not be granted to you by the Permissions/Copyright Group.
Important note with respect to use of clip art: Certain clip art contained in Complete Technology Assistance, LLC products should not be commercially redistributed nor used for commercial purposes. In addition, there may be other legal concepts you may need to consider when using copyrighted material (including, but not limited to publicity rights, trademark and logo rights). Complete Technology Assistance, LLC will not assist you in making a determination between commercial or non-commercial use, nor can we provide you with legal advice as to publicity or trademark rights. USE OF SOFTWARE:
Beta Products.
If you are interested in testing products for Complete Technology Assistance, LLC, you can submit your request via email to support@ctaaz.com. In your e-mail request, please include the following information:
-Name
-Company
-Address (no PO Boxes)
-Phone
-Fax
-Internet address
-Product interested in beta testing
-Brief description of hardware configuration.
After this information is received, it will be forwarded to the product group for review and consideration. Due to the volume of requests we receive, status checks cannot be processed on an individual basis. You will be contacted only if you are selected to participate in the beta program.
Donations of Product.
If you are seeking permission to donate software product, software licenses, or hardware loaded with Complete Technology Assistance, LLC software to another party, please ask for License Transfer.
If you are a non-profit organization and you are seeking a donation of software or software licenses from Complete Technology Assistance, LLC to your organization, please notify us via email to support@ctaaz.com to receive the permission.
Downgrades.
Complete Technology Assistance, LLC does allow the downgrading of current versions of retail Complete Technology Assistance, LLC software on a case-by-case basis by special permission, (unless such permission is already granted to you under your Complete Technology Assistance, LLC product End User License Agreement. Permission Letters issued by the Permissions/Copyright Group are required in many instances, because downgrading is not covered under certain product EULAs prior to 1995. The permission letter, if issued, will allow the holder to legally run a downgraded version of the product for a specified period. The permission letter, if issued, allows you to run the downgraded version of the software in place of the upgraded version. You will not have permission to use both versions of the software under the same license.
Free-For-Download Software.
Complete Technology Assistance, LLC makes available, free-for-download via the Internet, a number of its products and software deliverables, including portions of its software and/or system files (herein "Software"). Although you are free to download and use the Software, you are not free to reproduce and redistribute the Software. If you are not expressly granted the right to redistribute the Software, redistribution of the Software is not permissible. You are free to point your end users to the Complete Technology Assistance, LLC download location so they may download the Software, if available, directly from Complete Technology Assistance, LLC.
Making Copies.
Requests to make copies of Complete Technology Assistance, LLC software products are handled on a case-by-case basis and do require written permission. Requests to make extra copies of product should be submitted following the guidelines on How to Submit a Request to Use Software.
